I just paid $20 for a $40 ink cartridge by refilling it rather than buying a new one. I have printed a bunch of documents and the print quality seems to be the same so I will never purchase a new ink cartridge ever again. How much money have you saved on ink this year?
If you do a lot of printing, then you must know how costly replacing your ink cartridges can be. That said, refilling your ink cartridges is an easy way to save money and go green. Why throw out those empty plastic cartridges when you can just put more ink in them. There are plenty of videos online that show you how to refill them, or you can just find a place close by that will refill them for you at a fraction of the price of new ink cartridges.
Refilling is better than recycling because it still takes a significant amount of effort to recycle something and it takes virtually no effort to reuse something. If for some reason you enjoy wasting money and want to buy new ink cartridges, you can at least bring the empties to Staples and get $3 per ink empty cartridge.
